Chocolate Banana Bread Overnight Oats
Ingredients
½ cup rolled oats
⅔ cup milk of choice
½ scoop chocolate protein powder
1 banana
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tsp pure maple syrup
2 tbsp greek yogurt
½ tsp vanilla
Dash of sea salt
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder (optional for a more intense chocolate flavor)
Directions
In a bowl, mash 1/2 banana.
In a bowl or jar that can be sealed tight, combined mashed banana, protein powder, rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla, and cocoa powder.
Stir well to combine.
Seal jar and refrigerate over night or for 4+ hours.
Serve overnight oats warm or cold. Top and serve with the other half of banana (sliced) or other desired toppings.
Notes
Get as creative as you want, top with cacao nibs, chia seeds, cinnamon, or peanut butter.
Overnight oats are also delicious with pre-cooked steel cut oats, cook for 10 minutes before adding the other ingredients and putting into the fridge overnight.
