Apple Cider

Ingredients

10 sweet apples (Fuji, Gala, Honeycrisp are sweet)

1/2 cup sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tbsp all spice

Directions

Wash the apples but do not peel or core them, this isn't necessary since the cider will be strained at the end anyway.

Cut into quarters and place into a large pot.

Fill with enough water to cover the apples.

Bring to a boil, add the sugar and the spices then boil for 1 hour uncovered. The water evaporated too much for me so I added another 16oz when I noticed it getting low.

Lower to a simmer and leave covered for 2 hours.

Let cool, strain, and enjoy!

Extra freezes well to be enjoyed next month.
