BBQ Ribs (in oven)

Ingredients

1 rack of ribs (11-13 ribs)

1/2 bottle red wine, choose a cheap one you would drink

2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup honey

8 tbsp or more BBQ sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

Place ribs face down (meaty side down) in a large baking tray.

Pour wine and Worcestershire sauce over the top, should cover the meat almost half way.

Paint desired amount (maximum half of the honey) on top of the ribs.

Cover tightly with foil and bake for 3-4 hours or until meat is tender, almost falling of the bone but not yet.

At 1.5 hours take out of the oven, turn the ribs over and paint the face up side with the remaining honey, then return to the oven.

Once the ribs are finished cooking remove from the oven, remove the meat from the marinade, and preheat the broiler.

Generously paint the ribs with BBQ sauce, place under broiler for 3-5 minutes. Before the meat burns remove from the broiler, flip it, paint it again and return to the oven. Do this 4-5 times or until desired amount of sauce is baked into the rack.

Notes

This is a family recipe, lots of guessed measurements, really hard to mess up so make it your own.
